Tongits Go — A New Dimension in Card Games
Tongits Go is a table card game developed by JILI Games, essentially a digital version of the popular Filipino game Tongits. In this game, three players use a standard deck of cards and compete to reduce their points as low as possible. The goal is simple — the fewer points you hold in your hand, the better your chances of winning.
Playing Tongits Go at 222dk is a truly distinct experience — JILI's smooth animations, fast rounds, and easy-to-understand interface make the game equally popular among new and experienced players alike. You can play seamlessly from any device, whether mobile or desktop.
The game's standout quality is its strategic depth. Rather than relying on luck alone, decisions about which card to discard, the skill to read your opponents' moves, and strategies for forming sets and runs — all of this together has established Tongits Go as a thoughtful game.
Tongits Go — Core Rules and Strategy
Card Distribution
In each round, 13 cards are dealt to each player. A dealer distributes the cards and the remaining cards are placed face down in a pile in the middle. On each turn, a player draws one new card and discards one.
Sets and Runs
To reduce points, you need to form a "set" using three or four cards of the same rank, or a "run" using three or more consecutive cards of the same suit. Once placed on the board, those cards no longer count toward your point total.
Path to Victory
Emptying all cards from your hand and declaring "Tongits" earns the highest reward. A player may also declare a draw before the deck runs out — in that case, the player with the fewest points wins.
Point Counting
Number cards carry points equal to their face value. Jack, Queen, and King are each worth 10 points. An Ace is worth the minimum of 1 point. At the end of a round, the result is determined by adding up the points of the cards remaining in each player's hand.
Blocking Strategy
An opponent can attach ("hook") their own cards onto sets or runs you have placed on the board. Declaring a draw at the right moment to block this opportunity is an important strategic decision.
